Sanctuary 06:08
Woke this morning in a sweat, from a dream I can’t forget, In this dream I was dying. Shaken now I catch my breath, having seen a kind of death, That was cruel and terrifying. My body burned, the sky was red, I longed for water but the rivers were dead, I ran for cover from a poison rain, While Earth cried out in anguish and pain. Sanctuary, sanctuary Earth cries out with an agonising sound Sanctuary, sanctuary Lay down your weapons and think it through again! I tell myself it’s just a dream, yet I feel a silent scream growing, and my head is spinning I tremble as I look around - dying seas, scoured ground, I realise the nightmare’s just beginning My body burns, the sky is red, I long for water but the rivers are dead, I run for cover from a poison rain, While Earth cries out in anguish and pain. Sanctuary, sanctuary Earth cries out with an agonising sound Sanctuary, sanctuary Lay down your weapons and think it through again! Sanctuary, hear her cry, Sanctuary, don’t let me die.

Through the echoes that call Too many pleading hands, Now they realise that death has come too soon Abandoned barren streets Are the playground of our children Is this the time we've all been waiting for? Filling in time Washing the stains away What have we done? Will there be another day? Passing the time Wiping the tears away Live your life on earth As you would in heaven Pieces of glass lie, on the cold tile floor Fires of this hell won't be quenched by rain The horizon disappears Then you disappear The terror strikes ya maybe you dreamt it all? The living blind and seeing Dead together lie Innocent eyes look to their parents & cry Is God giving us up to die? This is the Time We've all been waiting for What have we done? Will there be another day? Filling in time Washing the stains away What have we done? Will there be another day? Passing the time Wiping the tears away Live your life on earth As you would in heaven

A time of loss And a time of grief The cries of their children Echoes through the streets And crumblings buildings, weep What do we do? What do we think? Where do we go? What do we eat? What do we drink? Nowhere to go Happiness lies for those that cry for People who have touched their lives Happiness waits for those that are grateful People who have touched our lives And the days are short And there's so much work to do A time for hope And a time for relief The laughter of their Children Will echo through the streets We can rebuild them, believe What do we do? What do we think? Where do we go? What do we eat? What do we drink? Nowhere to go Happiness lies for those that cry for People who have touched their lives Happiness waits for those that are grateful People who have touched our lives And the days are short And there's so much work to do

Jing & I 05:33
The streets are cold tonight Frozen winds are blowing Telling all who'll listen Winter will soon be coming Shelters filled up early No room for Jing and me Asked if we could wait till May Gave us some soup and coffee We've been traveling together For a couple of years Looking out for each other Sharing our food and tears Jing has a nasty cough She's wearing the extra shirt We know a kindly guard Lets us borrow a patch of dirt She's started crying again Lost a child in a forgotten war Bury my ghosts with two dollar gin Hers keep coming back for more Long cold nights are always the worst Don't care for all the talking time Private emotions come to surface Her hell gets confused with mine She starts shaking and groaning Just an hour before the dawn I hold her close to warm her By morning she was gone I need the clothes Jing's wearing Shakes and tears won't let me Left her name with unsure spelling Now her troubles are mine to carry We've been traveling together For a couple of years Looking out for each other Sharing our food and tears The streets are cold tonight Frozen winds are blowing Telling all who'll listen Winter will soon be coming

Take Me Away 04:41
Bright lights approaching I think we’re gonna meet Underneath a lamppost On a dark and misty street My life blood is draining Tired heart go to sleep Rains starts falling It bites in so deep Wind starts howling Leaves swirling round my feet This world is fading And soon I’ll be free Take me away Away from here To a place that’s safe Take me away Away from here To a place that’s far away My soul is rising And my mind is clear My body’s dying But there is no fear This life has ended I wish you were near Take me away Away from here To a place that’s safe Take me away Away from here To a place that’s far away

A New Dawn 04:01
May my hands, cultivate. May my eyes, captivate. May my mind, innovate This gardener will be In the morning sun Welcome this new dawn A new day is born Salute the sun The night is done Today Welcome this new dawn New life is formed Keep me awake It's not opaque Today May my words, speak so right May my deeds, shine so bright May my thoughts, come to light This gardener will be In the morning sun .
