A collaborative tribute to Tammo Trueper.

Tammo, or 'Boogie' (for his love of the guitar amp) as he was known to many of us, exemplified much that is good in this world. He shared knowledge, laughter, and passion for music. We are trying to give him something in return, something that comes from our hearts.

Each generation advances
paths laid by early giants
going beyond Newton’s summit,
Maxwell’s peak and Bohr’s ascent
each new insight granting glances
to men who answered wonder's call.
Physicist’s horizons open
the universe for us all.

Out of darkness the day will break,
With our sorrow Love grows strong.

Common men, brighter than most,
with ordinary hopes and fears
loving life music and women.

of obstacles to their view.
Nature’s laws and inner workings
lay visible to these few.
